About late life planning

Late Life Planning (North) Ltd was set up by Peter H Collins and Marilyn A Mason because after Peter had advised his clients for nearly 50 years as a Chartered Financial Planner working with one of the top Chartered Independent Financial Advisors in the country, it seemed a waste of everything he had learned from an academic and his own life experience.

In 2015 I decided to take a course to enable me to become a Member of the Society of Paralegals specialising in Estate Planning. I obtained the highest designation of  Fellowship after passing 10 assignments and a 3 hour exam in London. I then decided that I needed to have a greater understanding about Wills and Trusts even though after nearly 50 years of reading them and taking complex exams on taxation and trusts I attended a course and took a 3 hour examination to become a Member of the Society of Will Writers.

The reason that potential clients should not fear asking me for advice is due to my unique selling point. You will have an advisor with all of the above experience on wills, taxation, paralegal work, trusts and nearly 50 years of sitting in front of thousands of people who need advice, and that is very different to most High Street Lawyers or Will Writers.
